You won’t want to miss the beauty of the wonderful stained glass windows and architecture of one of Collingwood’s oldest churches. Best viewed before sunset, although some windows will be backlit so that you can still enjoy their beauty after dark. To enhance your experience, Keiko Yoden-Kuepher, Susan Connolly, Cantorum and other musicians will be performing at times throughout the evening.
Then, come to the parish hall to see the work of some local artists, focused on compassion for all aspects of our world—people, animals and the environment. A special feature will be Leah DenBok and her photography project ‘The Homeless’.

Simcoe Street Theatre • 65 Simcoe St.
Simcoe Street Theatre
65 Simcoe St.
The Franny Wisp & Her Washboard show is a unique, quirky and sometimes self-deprecating response to a society that is preoccupied with youth, beauty, success and romantic relationships. Her satire and wit are expressed musically through song, spoken word, wicked washboard rhythms and an electric kick drum. As a woman in her forties she portrays an honest and hilarious picture of the insecurities and trepidation she experiences in a demanding, relationship-oriented world. She exposes the challenges associated with aging, fear, singlehood, sex and dating.
To laugh at her misgivings and insecurities allows us to be kinder and gentler with ourselves. That’s what Franny Wisp & Her Washboard is all about. She creates an experience that connects us in a celebratory and often poignant way.
